Nominate your Hearing Care Professional!
Hearing Professional of the Year is your chance to celebrate
the professional skills and patient relations of your hearing professional by
nominating them as the best in their field.
Supported by Rayovac, the independent awards aim to recognize the difference
that hearing professionals make in our lives. We want to hear inspirational
stories about what your hearing professional has done for you. Have they
helped out in difficult or unusual circumstances? Have they simply been a pillar
of support for many years? What makes them special?
Anyone can vote. All you need to do is to fill in the form available and tell us about the
hearing health care you received and the difference it has made to your life.
Entries are judged on their quality and how well they bring to life the work of
the hearing care professional. The closing date for entries is September 30, 2012.
In the United States, there will be 5 finalists selected, one from each of
the geographic regions below. From that group, the national winner will be chosen.
- Northeast Region - CT, MA, ME, MI, NH, NJ, NY, PA, RI, VT
- Mid-Atlantic Region - KY, DC, DE, IN, MD, NC, OH, TN, VA, WV, Puerto Rico
- Midwest Region - CA, HI, IL, MN, ND, SD, WI
- South Region - AL, AR, FL, GA, LA, MS, OK, SC, TX
- West Region - AK, AZ, CO, IA, ID, KS, NE, MO, MT, NM, NV, OR, UT, WA, WY
Prizes
The winning hearing care professionals in the regions above will enjoy the title of
National Finalist: Hearing Professional of the Year 2012, as well as a framed
certificate and a donation of $500 made in their name to the hearing care not-for-profit
charity of their choice. They will also be put forward for the National Hearing
Professional of the Year Award, where they could win the overall coveted title. This
overall winner will be named National Hearing Professional of the Year 2012, claiming
a prestigious award an additional $1000 charitable donation to a hearing care not-for-profit
